The Process Involved With A Change of Name Deed

The process is usually very straightforward. We will want your basic details: your current name, your new name and your address. We will also ask you the reason for the name change, as the process cannot continue if you are trying to escape debts or criminal liability. 

If the Change of Name Deed is for a child, we will ask for the consent of everyone who has parental responsibility for that child, as this is required for a minor.

Once you have provided this information, we will prepare your Change of Name Deed for signature.
